B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery), a five and a half year Ayurveda degree course is being offered by this Institute. The subject material is taught as per C.C.I.M.’s recommendations.
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery is an undergraduate ayurvedic course which is awarded after successful completion of a five and a half years program or course that covers the study of the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda.
- The BAMS degree course covers the study of modern anatomy, physiology, principles of medicine, social and preventive medicine, pharmacology, toxicology, forensic medicine, botany, ENT, principles of surgery, etc along with ayurvedic topics as a part of the BAMS course syllabus
- The full 5½ years duration of the BAMS course includes one year of internship.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION AND STUDY
The media of Instructions are English & Hindi. Sanskrit is an integral part of Ayurveda studies.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate seeking admission to B.A.M.S. should have qualified 10+2 (PCB) and NEET in current academic year.
INTAKE CAPACITY
60 Students per year.
